Vaccinated - Influenza?
If he hasn't been vaccinated for some time, be sure you give him his booster for all diseases, and then give him another in the spring- Influenza, tet, encephamyli, and if you are keeping him in a stable with several others, Strangles intranasle is a must. Its a little costly but the Vet bill for treating a sick horse is much higher, or losing your friend because you cut corners would be devastating. Cheaper tack would be better then not caring for your horses health. I would say for all the shots (they usually come all in one except Strangles) they run anywhere from $15-$25 depending where you get them from.
