Can I return a car that I bought?

I bought and financed a car in August. Only a few weeks after a got the car - I was laid off. I have been trying to find a job since, but to no avail. I financed with Citifinancial and am wondering if I can just tell them to pick up the car? Will that go on my credit? And what about my co-signer for the loan?
