Has anyone ever had reoccuring dream about someone you barely know or know why I keep having dreams about it?

Throughout the school year, i took only 2 weeks of gym cl and there was this guy in the same cl as me. We never talked. After two weeks, i stopped taking gym cl, but i still saw the guy once in a while while walking to cl. About one month later, that guy kept appearing in my dreams. Sometimes, I dreamt about him 2 times in a row. And sometimes once every other day. It's strange because I didn't even think about this guy, only after I kept having dreams about him. Nor, did i like this guy or even know him that well. I've already dreamt about him almost 10 times. I can't find an explanation. My friend told me a couple of weeks ago, that I was eventually going to fall for this guy because he keeps on reappearing in my dreams. I doubted my friend, but last night I had a dream about that guy and I fell in love with him in my dreams! When i woke up.. that feeling (love) wouldnt go away. I think I'm going insane Has that ever happened to anyone or know why this is happening to me?
