Why am I so promiscuous and how can I help this problem?

Every time I'm alone with a guy, I get extremely shy & feel that ual things are the only way to break the ice. I constantly sleep around with guys I KNOW don't care about me and I'm often not even satisfied with the . What could possibly be my problem?
